Her most famous work, Aafno Manchhe Aafnai Hunchha (2010), won the award for the Best Movie in Dcine Awards 2009 and even won Arunima the award for Best Supporting Actor (Female) on the same night. The same movie won her the award for Best Supporting Actor (Female) at the Box Office Film Awards 2010. 
Arunima was once married to Amit Aryal, a banker without any connections with the film industry, and has a child with him. Unfortunately, the pair separated in 2017, and Arunima, after starring in a couple of movies, has since moved to the USA.
