Sushil Chhetri is a Nepalese actor having experience in the Nepali film picture industry. He was born on 06 June 1974. Chhetri completed his schooling at Tika High School, Kathmandu. He completed his ICom at the Tahachal Campus and BCom till his second year at the Patan campus. His coworkers Dilip Raimajhi and Pradip Shrestha also gained training under Raju Shah. He debuted in Kollywood with the film ‘Aaago’ which although received immense popularity, was banned before it’s release. After one year, in 2000, ‘Aago’ was given a green signal to release in the theatres. With the release of Bich Bato (2015), he made a kind of comeback to the Nepali film industry.

He started his career as a background dancer before getting into Kollywood. After the success of his debut movie, he became a superstar and was starred in many commercially successful films, such as Bhai (1999), Khandan (2002), Uphar (2003), Ke bho lau na ni (2003), Tribeni (2004), and Muglaan (2004). Chhetri has also been honoured with many prestigious awards from national and international societies. He was selected for the category of leading Actor in the Dabur Anmol Motion Picture Award 2004 for ‘Triveni’. He has also been honoured with ‘Best Actor’ in Kolkata for ‘Aago’ in Artist Award.
