Chapagain began his career from a hit comedy show called Hijo Aja Kaa Kura. Later, he worked in Thorai Bhaye Pugisari. After that he got a chance to work in the famous TV show Meri Bassai that was telecasted in 2006, which earned him fame and popularity. He has also acted in Gaai Ki Trishul.
