Deepak Raj Giri is Nepali actor, comedian, producer, screenwriter, and director. He was born on 13 April 1969 in Dahachok, Kathmandu, Nepal. He is one of the famous Actor of the Nepali film industry. Besides acting, he also wrote screenplays, directed, and produced various shows and films. Like he wrote, directed, and Produced Cha Ekan Cha, a Nepali film, in 2013. He has acted in various movies, but his first lead role as an actor was in Sunder Mero Naam in 2008.

He also wrote, produced, and played a role in the film Woda Number 6 in 2015. In 2016, he wrote and produced Chhakka Panja and played the role of Raja. In 2018, he wrote and acted in Shatru Gate and Chhakka Panja 3. In Chha Maya Chhapakkal, he played the role of B.P. Poudel in 2019. He got awards like 3 NEFTA Film Awards, which Best Dialogue for Chha Ekan Chha and Best Story, screenplay, and Dialogue in 2021 for Chhakka Panja 3. Continuing the award list, he also won National Film Award for Best Actor in 2022.
