Aasif Shah is a Nepalese TV actor, singer, director, presenter, producer and rapper who was born on 3rd October 1980 in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is popularly known as a member of The Unity which is a Nepalese Hip Hop group. He started his career in the entertainment industry of Nepal in the year 2002 from Channel Nepal as a video jockey and producer. He produced various music related programmes during his tenure with Channel Nepal. In 2003, Aasif joined Nepal 1 channel as a senior producer and presenter where he produced highly rated television shows like “Sanga Sangai”, “Puraskar Dus Hajar”, “A Day out with celebrity” and “4U”.

He also produced “KTV Shop” when working in Kantipur Television and musical shows like “Image Platform” and “Music of Your Choice” during his tenure with Image Channel as a senior producer and presenter. Aasif initiated G21 Production as an independent AV production house in 2003. Aasif is part of a Nepalese Hip Hop Band named The Unity which has won numerous national awards. “Pahilo Maya”, “Aajha Feri” and “Prem Ani Aago” are few of their productions which garnered significant amount of applaud by the audience.
