Azmiya is a young and beautiful girl. She is an obedient girl and prioritizes her family before everything. Her mother, Salma, has raised her by inculcating the habits of a good wife. Salma believes that a wife should be submissive to her husband. She should be caring and compassionate to her husband, no matter her husband’s behavior towards her. After marriage, a woman should always put her husband on priority. She must not question her husband’s intentions and support him. Azmiya had the exact mentality taught by her mother. Salma wants Azmiya to get married soon as she has become of marriageable age. Salma fixes Azmiya’s marriage to her step-aunt’s son, Fardeen.

Fardeen is an evil and short-tempered person. Fardeen gets angry at small things. He does not respect women. Azmiya accepts this proposal without knowing much about him. They start talking to each other on the phone. One day, Fardeen calls her phone when she is alone. While talking, he asks her to take off her top. Azmiya is utterly shocked and refuses to do so. Fardeen tries to convince her by saying that they are going to get married in a few days. Then he gets angry at her that a woman should say everything her husband asks for. She hesitantly agrees to do so. Afterward, she felt guilty and wrong. Fardeen gets everything that he wants due to his short temper. Azmiya does not like this behavior. But she is expected to adjust to her husband’s temper. One day, during such a phone call with Fardeen, Azmiya started crying as he was being unreasonably angry at her. Azmiya’s childhood friend, Zaki, overhears her conversation. Zaki had feelings for Azmiya for a long time but never expressed it.

He feels heartbroken seeing her in this condition. He advises her not to marry Fardeen as he is not a nice man. If he troubles her and makes her cry before marriage, he will surely continue this behavior after marriage. As Azmiya is taught to worship her husband, she lashes out at Zaki, assuming he is trying to break her relationship. Zaki is a tailor who has a shop in the colony. Salma gives him the orders for the wedding dresses and also asks him to help in marriage preparations. Seeing Zaki help around for her marriage, Azmiya regrets behaving badly with him. A day before the marriage, Fardeen quietly entered Azmiya’s room, startling her. She was surprised to see him there. He tried to force himself on her. She gets scared and pushes him away. But Fardeen tried to overpower her. Azmiya gets terrified and slaps him. Fardeen being a short-tempered person, instantly divorces her by triple talaq. Although shattered that her marriage broke, Azmiya was relieved not to get a husband like Fardeen.
