Mehwish Hayat is a Pakistani actress, model and singer. She was born on 6 January 1983 in Karachi Pakistan. In 2009, she appeared as a guest character in the drama and comedy Urdu TV series ‘Mannchalay’. Her character name is Fiza who was the bhabhi of the Naazia. Naazia is the daughter of Qavi Khan. The show was produced by Momina Duraid and directed by Roomi Insha.

In 2011, she played a role in the Urdu serial ‘Bin Tere’. She played a major role of Zainab Khan in the serial. Zainab is the neighbor of Fawad Mushtafa and Benneid Chauhan who always wants to know what happens in the house of her neighboring couple. It was a drama show telecast on Hum TV. The show was produced by Yasir Shakeel and directed by Naveed Sardar Khan.

Mehwish is also a model. She display the bridal costume of famous designer Akmal Khan in Lux Fashion week and lingerie designs of another famous fashion designer Tarak Singh in Lakme Fashion show India in 2008. She is one of the few Pakistani model who walked the ramp wearing a lingerie. Mehwish got critics by Pakistani media by doing this. She also appeared in some Indian ad films of Hero Honda, TVS, AXE, Cipla, HP, MDH, etc.

Mariya Khan, a well-known Pakistani actress, model, host, and voice actress, was born on October 5, 1988. Her birthplace is Quette, Pakistan. She completed her Bachelor’s in Arts at St. Joseph’s College. She has been active in the Pakistani film industry since 2000. She has worked as a hostess for many television channels, including Kay 2 TV. She was a voice actress for Suno Pakistan FM 89.4. She started her career as a voice actress.

Maria Wasti, born on 14th August 1971, is a Pakistani Television & Film actress and host. Pakistan’s first private (non-government owned) channel launched in the 1990s, Network Television Marketing, featured contents that grasped attention and interests of the younger generation of the society, and hence, fascinated Maria to become an actress. Maria has done over 50 serials and a huge number of assorted plays. She started her career with the play ‘Sarah Aur Ammara’ for which she was approached by Bakhtiar Ahmed, the programme manager PTV Lahore Centre.

Famous Pakistani Actress and Producer, Rubina Ashraf was born on 9th of November in Lahore city. The versatile actress is a graphic designer by profession, who completed her graduation in 1986. Rubina had no plans to join the showbiz. Her mother wanted her to be a doctor, but destiny had different plans. She accompanied her friend ‘Saba Pervaiz’ to her audition but she was selected too. Rubina has four siblings and she is the eldest among them. Rubinamade her start in the field of acting from the play “AurDrame” that was written by the famous writer “Ashfaq Ahmed”.

Samina is a Pakistani actress, director, producer, and stage performer. She was born in Karachi, Pakistan on 11th February 1950. She is a household name in the Indian as well as Pakistani entertainment industry. As an actress, she debuted in channel PTV’s plays. She is famous for some comedy-drama Akkar Bakkar, Such Gup, Taal Matol, etc. She went forward in her career through movies like Naraz in 1983 and Dukhtar in 2014.

Arjumand Rahim comes out as a most talented theater personality associated with TV in Pakistan. Not just as an actress, but as a director and a producer also she has been extremely successful, and has also been appreciated for her work in these areas. It was in 1995 while she was still in college that she started taking part in Urdu theater. In that period she took part in numerous well known dramas, and the ones she remembers most was the role of Corrie Bratter in “Barefoot in the Park” staged in 1997, and the 1998 telefilm “Neeli Dhoop” on PTV. However, her first TV serial came only in 2004, after which she made rapid strides to gain acclaim and popularity amongst her numerous viewers. As is normal, in the beginning she had short roles or participated in smaller shows. 

She gradually went up the ladder of fame with the 2008 serial “Mai Aur Tum” in which she co-starred with Faisal Qureshi one of the most versatile actors in Pakistan. The way the pair gelled on screen was much appreciated by TV audiences, prompting her to take up role in a tele-film with Faisal Qureshi. The string of successes perhaps emboldened Arjumand to try her luck at the ultimate destination for all aspirants in the sub continent – Bollywood. Whatever the reasons, but her mission did not succeed and she was back in Pakistan with a renewed determination to reinforce her place in the Pakistan TV world. She now looked to set up her own production house Art Republik, which went on to produce the curious sounding “Shah Rukh Khan Ki Maut” which although produced as a digital format film only, has received appreciation for the boldness of its message. 

However, regarding her own possibilities of entering into film acting she rules it out, declaring openly her penchant for theater, and also expressing her disenchantment at the state of cinema in Pakistan. All in all, however, to sum up Arjumand’s career so far, she is surely one of the most talented TV and stage artistes in Pakistan, performing with equal dedication whether it be in acting or in production, driven by her glowing passion for creativity and uniqueness of production, to cater to her fans and critics alike.

Adnan Jilani is a famous Television actor of Pakistan. He is the elder son of noted media celebrity of Pakistan Qurbani Jilani. His younger brother Kamran Jilani is also a popular model and actor. Adnan started his acting career along with his first wife, Sadia Jilani. Their pair created a lot of buzz in the Pakistani TV shows for their acting. Some of his best works include "Makan Aka Home a Heaven" (2006), "The Making of Maa Aur Mamta Aka Motherhood" (2004), "Moorat Aka Eunuch's Wedding" (2004), "Way to Hope" (2004), and many more.  He received acclaim for his exceptional role behind the scenes such as Top Indie Film Award and a Lux Style Award nomination for his work on "Aashti" (2009).

Sami Khan born on July 6, 1980 is a Pakistani actor and model. He has graduated from UET, Lahore. He began his career in the TV industry with the film “Salakhain” in 1998. He has enacted his roles in the movies brilliantly and thus got recognised in the Indian television industry as well. “Devar Bhabhi” was his Lollywood debut in 2013. He won the Tarang Houseful Awards for Best Actor in a Leading Role. He also won the PTV Best Actor Award for the serial “Ghar Ki Khatir” in 2011.

 Sami Khan’s most famous daily soap opera is “Love, Life Aur Lahore”. It is a Pakistani television serial which airs on A-Plus channel. Khan plays the role of Pari Paiker who is in love with a Hindu girl. The story is about their love story. “Meri Ladli” is another of his opera which is a Pakistani romantic drama serial which began in 2012. Khan plays the role of Abdul Hadi. It is the story about a young woman, Aarfah who elopes with her beloved, Sajid. The serial revolves around the difficulties they face. Thus, Khan’s work has been recognised and he continues to charm the audience with his marvellous acting.

Faisal Qureshi is a well-known Pakistani anchor and actor who acted in almost all types of character roles in television and films. He was born on October 26, 1974 in Lahore, Punjab. His father is Abid Qureshi and his mother is Afshan Qureshi, one of the most popular film actress in Lahore, Pakistan. Faisal was discovered after his recurrent visit to the set while his mother is on shoot. The actor got married for three times; the first time was when he is only 18-years old and got divorced with one daughter after three years of marriage. Faisal remarries to Ayesha Agha when he was 24-years old but after 18-months, they got divorced with a son. Recently, he remarries to Sana and they now lived in Karachi, Pakistan. 

The actor started his career through the play, Emergency Ward on PTV, as a child actor. He is also part of the very popular Pakistani crime-based series, Andhera Ujala on the same channel in 1984. Faisal also made an appearance as a child actor in the Pakistani drama, Ab Ghar Jane Do and Hum Tum. In 1992, he made his very first major role as an adult through the film, Saza; followed by films like Nangay Paoon, Tere Ghar Ke Samnay, Bobby, Nadia, Mera Inteqam, Marvi, Panha, Gaddhar, Aaina and he is also part of the Pakistani drama film, Good Morning Karachi in 2013. He quits after four years of working on films and decided to become a full-time TV actor.

Faisal started on television doing minor roles, until he was roped in to portray the role of Boota in the Urdu-language drama serial, Boota from Toba Tek Singh which was aired on Pakistan Television Corporation. From there, he appeared in more than 50 television serials including Mirza and Sons, Masoori, Ahsaas, Aaina, Deewar, Nazrul Islam, Jaaye Kahaan Yeh Dil, The Ghost, Harjaee, Jumkaa Jaan, Main Abdul Qadir Hoon, Mann Ke Moti, Basha Momin, Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan, Yariyan, Umrao Jaan Ada, Wajood e Lariab, Ander World, Kaanch, Mera Yaqeen, Main Manto, Roag, Phir Kab Milo Gaye and a lot more. Faisal received various awards for his outstanding performances as an actor and as a host from 2010 to 2011.

Faisal also appeared as a jury in Dum Hai To Entertain Kar on ARY Digital and in Nachle. He is also the anchor of the show, Hero Banney Ki Tarang, also from ARY. In 2010, he hosted the morning show, Muskurati Morning, together with Ayesha Khalid on TVOne Global. The show earned the Best Morning Show Award in 2011. Faisal also donned telefilms from 2008 to 2010. He appeared in the episode, Qissaon Ki Chaadar on Hum TV’s Resham Si Shaam. Acting has always been his passion ever since he was a kid; and while many personalities wanted to go big in the industry, Faisal wanted to stick to what he started. He never consider being a producer or a director someday, because he believe he still need to go far in terms of acting.

Rehan Sheikh is a Pakistani actor, director, an exemplary screenwriter and producer hailing from Karachi, Sindh. He was born on January 01, 1979. Rehan got the passion for theater dramas during his college days. He was very enthusiastic, and so he joined a young and vibrant theater group of people in South London. He learned and experienced a lot of essential nuances of the art of acting in dramas. Later, in 1992, he worked for ‘Tamasha Theatre Company’s’ drama called as "Women of the dust.” It was directed by Kristine Landon-Smith and the cast and crew members including Rehan did a commendable job. Later, he went to Pakistan for a holiday and worked on his debut television serial named as “Aaghosh.” This serial captured great attention by audience because of his acting skills and talent.

This Pakistan-based actor has some remarkable works in the field of world cinema and acting. He was born in Karachi. Debuting in the year 1980, he started up with the small screen. With his performances in many television serials in Urdu, he had grasped the mind of the audience with his acting skill. The most famous series where he performed was “Khalij”. Besides, his performance as a comedian was acknowledged by all in “Dhoop Kinare” by Haseena Moin, which was a drama. Moammar Rana was born on February 26th, 1974 in Lahore, Pakistan to Shafquat Rana and Rehana Rana. He is a Pakistan actor and film director and has done various soap operas and television serials. He came into the film industry through the film Kudiyon Ko dale dana. Some of his famous movies are Deewane Tera Pyar Ise and Dobara. He is married to Mehnez Pervai and has two children.
