Plot

Parshi from Arepalli is in love with Anitha, a girl from the neighbouring village. As their families don’t approve of their relationship, they decided to elope. But their hidden family secret is revealed. Parshi’s grandma was the mistress of Anitha’s late grandfather. As per the will, she is given five acres of land. This triggers a dispute between Anitha’s father and uncle. Anitha’s grandma brings a solution to this dispute, stating that she will transfer the property if Parshi and Anitha get married. Will their marriage happen? Will their families unite?

Star Performance

Anil Geela, Maira Puli, Muralidhar Goud and Raju Bhairagoni did justice to their given roles. Anila and Varshini fit well in their roles as village people. Their body language and dialogue delivery are quite good. Muralidhar Goud’s command over Telangana dialect is impressive.

Analysis

The love track is shot well with some good moments. The casting team has done a good job by picking good actors. The flashback portions are shit well. The first few episodes are going at a good pace. After the fourth episode, the narrative is routine, and the screenplay is stretched. As it was shot in real locations, we can feel the authenticity. The background music gels well in emotional scenes. The visuals are inspiring. The editing should’ve been tighter. If it had been reduced to an episode, it would’ve been better.

• After four episodes, the series loses its momentum; the screenplay had been better

Verdict

Mothevari Love Story has enough romance and comedy. Despite a few flaws, the series is watchable once!
