Wow is a game show for celebrities belonging to the Telugu cinema and television industry. Each episode invites four celebrities. The show takes place on a big stage with the anchor and host, Sai Kumar, on a podium on the left side and the celebrities on four podiums on the right side. In the middle of the stage is a small pit filled with styrofoam balls, whose purpose will be known in the last round.

The peculiar aspect of the show is that each of the celebrities is given a suitcase filled with cash amounting to ten lakhs before the game begins. In each round, they either lose or keep the money. The one left with the highest amount of money at the end of the game wins and gets to take the money home. The show has four rounds. The first one is called ‘Cut Cheste’. Two makeshift podiums are set up in the middle of the stage. Two contestants play the game at a time. It is a buzzer round. The anchor explains the plot of any Telugu movie, and the players guess it. He then asks them four questions related to the movie, each of which is answered by the one that presses the buzzer.

If the one who pressed the buzzer answered it right, the other player needs to give them an amount of forty-thousand rupees. If they answer wrong, the player needs to put forty-thousand in a cash deposit money, and it goes to the show. Two such movies are featured. The second round is called ‘Super Hittu Bomma Pattu’. The players play this round individually. For each player, twelve boxes in the 4 into 4 pattern are displayed on the screen at the back of the show. Behind each box is an image, and the player needs to open two boxes with the same image in three attempts. It is purely based on luck. If they match them in the first attempt, they don’t lose any money. If they say in the second attempt, they lose one lakh rupees.

If they say in the third attempt, they lose another fifty-thousand rupees. If they don’t answer in the third attempt, they lose two lakh rupees. The third round, ‘Laka Laka Laka’, is a general knowledge round. This round is also played individually. Each player is asked four questions. They can answer the question or pass if they don’t know. Each wrong answer or pass costs them seventy-five-thousand rupees. If they answer them right, they get to keep the money, if not, they deposit them in the machine.

The fourth and final round is called ‘Vadala Bommali Vadala’. This is a fun round in which a huge styrofoam sheet has a human figure cut out in a different shape. The player needs to stand in the middle of the stage and pose like the cut part of the styrofoam so that it can pass through them without breaking. If the player loses this round, they give three lakh rupees to the show. The player standing with the highest amount of money by the end of this show is the winner.
