Student No. 1 is a Telugu language TV show that airs on the channel ETV Plus from Wednesday to Friday at 6 pm for one hour. The anchors of the show are Krrish Gantla and KC. Student No. 1 is a game show for college students. Juniors and seniors of a college play opposite each other to win the student no. 1 title. It is conducted in a different college every week. The show opens with a title song that features students challenging each other and performing antics. Then the juniors and seniors are seated in opposite rows with the stage in the middle. One of the anchors supports the juniors and the other supports the seniors. The first round is called ‘touch chesi choodu’.
It is a truth or dare game. One of the participants spins a wheel that could either land on truth or dare. The dares mostly consist of role play. The second round is ‘Yentha sakkagunnave’, which is a ramp walk. The third is a sports round in which outdoor games are conducted between the two teams. A panel of judges consisting of the dignitaries of the college give marks for each round. At the end of the show, all the participants receive mementos, and the winner is announced by one of the judges.
