She completed her graduation in BA literature at PSG College, Coimbatore, and MA in Mass communications at Women’s Christian College, Chennai.

She debuted as a TV anchor and host very famous shows like Hitlist and Semma morning in sun music and Vanakkam Tamizh in Sun TV. Her hometown is in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. She loves to watch movies. She is an Optimist. And she believes in karma. She loves to wear a saree.
