Thara is a Sinhala drama that started airing on Swarnavahini on 15th February 2019 and went off air on 8th March 2019. It aired on Saturdays at 8:30 pm.
Thara loses her parents in a war. From then, her teacher cares for her with motherly love. After some time, Thara finds out that her parents are alive and they come for her. Thara’s parents had arguments with her teacher. Will they hurt the teacher and take Thara away from her? The rest of the story deals with this.
