Thamath Adare Nathnam is a Sinhala TV serial which aired on Hiru TV. It is the remake of the Turkish TV series Aşk Laftan Anlamaz which aired on Show TV in June 2016. It's a romantic comedy-drama. The story is set in Istanbul. The story focuses on two characters, Murat Sarsılmaz (Burak Deniz) and Hayat Uzun (Hande Erçel). Murat Sarsılmaz is the owner of a multinational fashion company called Sarte, and Hayat Uzun is a woman from a small village who gets a job at Sarte. The show follows a workplace romance between these characters.

Hayat is under pressure to find work in Istanbul or she'll be forced into an arranged marriage. A case of mistaken identity lands her in the assistant job at Sarte. Murat is drawn to Hayat. Murat pursues Hayat and they bond but more obstacles keep arising. The series is all about the ups and downs of their relationship. There are several secondary characters and relationships as well. In the end, five years later, Murat and Hayat have twins and another baby on the way. They are shown happily married even after all the difficulties.
