The series revolves around patriarchy and injustice bestowed on women, especially this little girl from a small village. The opening score starts with her taking care of her house, along with her sick mother, whom she makes food for, amidst her poor environmental condition.

Along with that, she also is a gatherer, and she gathers plants for nutrition. While she is trying to travel with the harvest, two men stop her in her tracks and steal her produce. She is deeply hurt when another guy stops in to help her out. Similarly, another girl from the same village is getting harassed by a shaman while she is inside the temple. She runs away from the place, followed by other villagers hot on her trail. The episode ends when both of these girls eventually meet, along with the guy who initially helped the former girl. The series takes on significant themes, such as gender inequality and patriarchy, since it is well known that conditions such as these warrant the treatment of girls in such a way, and the series tackles this exact issue.

It also focuses on deeper issues, such as when portraying this little girl who is not as well off, but at the same time, another woman who is more well off gets better treatment in society. The men also depict themes such as bullying and greed since they take a lot more than they need. The series thus progresses in this manner, showcasing related themes.
