Dhruv is portrayed as a young 16-year-old boy who can't wait to grow up and explore whatever pleasures life and earth has to offer. He wants to become an adult fast enough to enjoy life without anyone holding him back. However, he finds himself developing a crush on a girl in his class named Chhavi.

Dhruv has two childhood friends, Kabir, who is a wannabe bad boy, and Susu, who is color-blind but doesn't know it yet. Chhavi is portrayed as a competent and intelligent girl who is quite the eye-candy and is the topper of the class. She is a feisty and strong girl who is focused on her life. When Dhruv develops feelings for her, his friends Kabir and Susu decide to help him in winning over the affection of the girl. In the first episode, all the main characters of the series are introduced accordingly and in respect of their different personalities. Dhruv and his two friends enter the 11th standard as new students with a lot to explore. When Dhruv develops a crush on the beautiful and intelligent Chhavi, Kabir proposes that Dhruv should get a new bike to look 'cool' and impress Chhavi to woo her with the first impressions.

Liking the thought of the whole plan, Dhruv asks his parents for a new bike. However, things take a turn when the motorcycle is not something that he has in mind. As expected, the plan fails. As they start to spend more time in their school, Dhruv finds himself falling for Chhavi even more than before. He participates in a school play alongside her to impress her, but that plan doesn't work in his favour, and he ends up playing the role of her brother in the skit. It is on this day that he learns that Chhavi has a boyfriend named Shantanu. This knowledge leads to heartbreak which his friends help him to get over. Kabir gets Dhruv to drink some alcohol so that he can cope with the heartbreak. However, after getting the alcohol in his system, they decide to beat up this Shantanu guy.

After the event, Dhruv discovers that Shantanu has finally broken up with Chhavi. This sounded like good news to him. Dhruv and Chhavi finally start to get closer. Learning of their recent activities, the school authorities give the trio a warning to behave themselves and improve their studies. Chhavi helps Dhruv with his studies, and they start to catch feelings for each other, and Chhavi decides to give him a chance. Chhavi is set to go to Kota for her further studies and ambitions, and before she follows her career, she decides to go on a date with Dhruv. Even though he had long waited for this, on the date night, he couldn't help but feel nervous and messed up several times. Nevertheless, it was a good date night. Dhruv gifts Chhavi a t-shirt scribbled over in memories and parting notes which make Chhavi happy and slightly overwhelmed. She kisses Dhruv before she parts with him, and that's where the season ends.
