Hindi Web Series Amriki Dulha

Amriki Dulha is a Hindi web series that falls under the very popular and ever-demanding genre of comedy-drama. The show has a very light-hearted and fun plot that traces various relationships such as friendships, romance, parental love, etc. The story follows Ganesh who has just returned to his home town, Chennai to spend his holidays. His father Mr. Rangarajan starts pressurizing him to get married, but Ganesh doesn’t want to. Ganesh is gay but hasn’t come out in the open. He keeps his sexuality a secret. He at first tries to deflect this topic but after a few days has to come up with something to prevent himself from getting into a marriage. Ganesh has a friend called Michael with whom he prepares a plan but the plan fails miserably.

Rangarajan forced Ganesh to meet a prospective bride and see where things go from there. Ganesh’s sexuality comes out in the open and Rangarajan has to accept it after much rage. The story then follows Ganesh as he goes into a relationship with Karthik. The story as stated earlier is very lighthearted and so is the mood of the show which spares the viewers with heavy melodrama and tries to shed light on important subjects.
