Match Indian Poker League Season 2 held in the city of joy, i.e., Kolkata. In this season, ten teams participated in the event. Season 2 host were Dheeraj and Benafsa. The winning team got the chance to represent India in Asia’s Nation Cup.

The chairman of the Indian Poker Federation and the event’s sponsor is Varun Goenka and Raj Kundra. One hundred people, including all teams, participated in the event. Season 2 has a twist where real cards got introduced. The event’s format remains the same.  There were various card rankings like High Card, Pair, Two Pair, three of a kind, Straight, Flush, Full house, Four of a Kind, Straight flush, Royal flush. Royal Flush got the highest card ranking. Each team consists of roughly 6-10 members depending upon the group.

The event lasted for five days. The main event was held on 26th and 27th April; 2018. Each day team of the day got awarded the prize of 10 lakh INR. On the first day, Andhra Bullets won the title. But on the 2nd day, Goan Nuts took the lead. Finally, Haryana Hawks won the scintillating title for Season 2. The cash prize was 2crores. The runners were UP Indians and Delhi Aces.
