The show is all about the battle between the top aspiring rappers of the country who compete against one another to become and achieve the title of India’s most prominent hip-hop star. The judgeship of the show is given in the hands of the famous artist Badshah but also has a distinct panel of squad bosses. It was consisting of sixteen contestants carefully selected through online auditions held on the platform of Voot. Badshah was responsible for deciding which contestants would be assigned or allotted to which squad boss. Once the allotment was completed, each squad boss would then be responsible for training and grooming the contestants that were under them. These contestants would put up performances and finally would be judged on several criteria, which included talent, technique, storytelling, musicality, and ultimately, the overall performance. Interestingly, the audience or viewers were also given a chance to be a part of the show, and support their favorite contestants by voting for them on the Voot application.

The series showcased some very fantastic songs and performances put up by the contestants and it all came down to a highly close battle in which Abhishek Baisla, also known as MC Square, ultimately emerged victorious, Tanishq Singh Tanishq Singh is a Hindi rapper. On the whole, MTV Hustle 2.0 was an entertaining, fun-filled show with that provided its contestants with a chance to be the next top rap voice of India and provided its audience with lovely performances in every single episode that it aired.
