The last segment of the show used to be the lucky letter part, in which the anchor used to pick up a random letter from a lot of letters that the viewers had sent and would read its message aloud and play the song of that particular viewer’s choice. On Saturday and Sunday mornings, people would wake up humming songs playing on the show.
