Vidya Sinha was born on 15 November 1947 in Mumbai. Her father Rana Pratap Singh was a producer in Hindi cinema. Director Mohan Sinha was her maternal grandfather. She started her career as a model and was crowned as Miss Bombay. When Basu Chatterjee noticed her on the cover page of a film magazine, he offered her the chance to work in his movie, and she got her first break in the movie Rajnigandha opposite Amol Palekar after which, there was no looking back. She worked in many movies with B.R. Chopra and many other top banners as the lead actress. In 1975, she played the lead role in Basu Chatterjee directed movie Chhoti Si Baat. In 1978, she acted in B. R. Chopra directed movie Pati, Patni Aur Wo opposite to Sanjeev Kumar. This movie was a blockbuster and won a Flimfare Award for Best Screenplay. 

Vidya Sinha was married to Venkateshwaran Iyer in the year 1968 and gave birth to her daughter Jahnvi in 1989. She left acting to take care her family. In 1996, her husband died due to prolonged illness. She remarried an Australian doctor Netaji Bhimrao Salunke in 2001, but later on divorced him.

On persuasion of her daughter, she restarted her acting career as a television actress in 2000. She played Kavya’s grandmother Sharmila Nanda, in Ekta Kapoor’s romantic television drama Kkavyanjali. In Sahara One’s serial Neem Neem Shahad Shahad, she appeared as Hansmukh’s wife. In 2009, she played a senior maid servant Bui in the serial Sajan Ghar Jana Hai, which aired on Star Plus. In Zee TV’s Popular Daily show Qubool Hai, she is playing the character of Badi Bi (grandmother). Recently Vidya Sinha was also seen in Salman Khan Starrer movie Bodyguard. In this movie she played Kareena Kapoor’s mother.

Sara Khan is a popular Indian TV actress. She won the Miss Madhya Pradesh Title in 2007 and did anchoring for Doordarshan and ETV. She made her television debut as Sadhna in the popular Star Plus show Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai. She later starred in Bigg Boss Season 4, Ram Milaayi Jodi, Welcome- Baazi Mehmaan-Nawaazi among others.

Sara Khan was born on August 6, 1989 in Bhopal, India. She did her schooling from Bhopal itself before moving to Mumbai, where she did her graduation from Mumbai University. Sources close to the couple reported that they had received a handsome fee for marriage and Ali Merchant himself confessed in a reality show, Sach Ka Saamna that he married Sara Khan for publicity.

Currently, she is working on a film by Mohit Suri, Hamari Adhuri Kahani (HAK), M3, Happy Singh and Peppy Singh, although her debut film, a novel based Dark-Rainbow remains unreleased. She will also be seen in Color’s famous show Sasural Simar Ka as Roli.

She is known for playing Sharda role in TV serial Chhoti Maa - Ek Anokha Bandhan in the year 2001. She also played a surrogate mother in Zee TV’s serial Chandan Ka Palna Resham Ki Dori. In 2004, she played Ishita Khandelwal in a thriller soap K. Street Pali Hill, which aired on star plus. During 2005-07, she worked in the serial Ek Ladki Anjaani Si as lead character Anu’s mother on Zee TV and played Vasundhara in the Serial Mamta (2006-07). Then in 2007, she was seen as Sapna Singh in air force theme based serial Chhona Hai Asmaan on Star One. From 2008-10, she played Shilpa Sharma in teen drama ‘Miley Jab Hum Tum’ and Bashkar's mother in TV serial ‘Bhaskar Bharti’. In 2009, she appeared in the serial Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari which aired on Colors. Her other memorable role includes, Sunanda Dev Pundir in serial Bairi Piya and Anjali in Sapno Se Bhare Naina. These days she is famous as Rachna's mother in Zee TV's popular daily serial ‘Sapne Suhane Ladakpan ke’.

Sachin Shroff is a popular Indian television actor who has featured in a couple of serials in the lead role. He was seen in the serial ‘Sindoor Tere Naam Ka’ that aired on Zee TV. In this show, he played the character of Dhruv Raizada. He plays the protagonist here. The show is the story of Dhruv marrying a mentally ill girl called Vedika, so that his elder brother gets the hand of Vedika’s elder sister Niharika. The rest of the story follows about how Dhruv manages with Vedika and their after marriage life.

‘Saath Phere’ is another serial in which Sachin was seen, here as an antagonist. This show featured on Zee TV and was basically the story of a dusky girl, who manages to keep her head high, despite the society’s prejudices about her complexion.

He has been seen in the show, ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. It is an adaption from The Baby Borrowers. This was a reality show that put five celebrity couples on a test of parenthood. Sachin appeared on this show with his real life partner, Juhi Parmar.

‘Rakt Sambandh’ is another serial that Sachin was a part of. This show was about five sisters, who are married and the struggles they face up in life, post the institution of marriage.
