For Marathi actress Amruta Subhash it was relatively easier to become an accomplished actress, coming as she does from a family of actors her mother Jyoti Subhash being a well-known actress, and her mentor. However, in the true Marathi tradition, she entered acting through the medium of theatre, having graduated from the National School of Drama, New Delhi.
