Ruchir Joshi is an eminent filmmaker, Indian writer, and journalist. He was born in 1960 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He is the son of famed writer Shivkumar Joshi and got the creativity and art of writing from his father. Ruchir graduated from Mayo College Ajmer, and in 1979, he moved to the United States of America to pursue undergraduate studies in Vermont.
