Shobha Kapoor is a film and television producer from India and the Managing Director of the much acclaimed Balaji Telefilms, a serial production house based in Mumbai. It is now run by her talented daughter Ekta Kapoor. Shobha mainly takes care of the production and administration activities of the company. She has co-produced many cult Hindi serials such as ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ from 2000 to 2008, ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ also from 2000 to 2008, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ from 2001 to 2008 and ‘Kaahin Kissii Roz’ from 2001 to 2004. She is married to veteran actor Jeetendra, and they have two kids, Tusshar Kapoor, and Ekta Kapoor. Shobha and Jeetendra were dating each other for 13 years before their wedding, and former was working as an air-hostess then.

She flaunted her dancing skills in Star Plus’s popular dancing show Nach Baliye with her partner Yartharth Agnihotri.
She started her Bollywood career in 2005 with Dosti: Friends Forever. She also did a Kannada movie I am sorry Mathe Banni Preethson in 2011. In 2013 she starred in Indra Kumar’s comedy movie Grand Masti which was a major hit. The movie was a sequel of Masti. It is rumoured that she is dating Hanif Hilal who is a dancer and model. Her upcoming movie is Tina and Lolo directed by Devang Dholakia which also stars Sunny Leone.
