Monisha singh is the creative director at UTV. Speaking about her work, she always tries to make her characters different from what has been seen on television. She likes to make them memorable, visible. Kehta Hai Dil, a program created and hosted on UTV, has two criminals - the Mayor and his wife - as his bodyguards. They are criminals of the first order, yet they are ridiculous in a dark way. One has to be careful to give them nuances, quirks, which help them stand out. Above all, she interacts with people, and her team to fine-tune the characters.
