Johny aala re was a comedy show aired on Zee TV produced by Akashdeep and Sabina of Cinetek Films Pvt Ltd and presented by the king of comedy in the Bolllywod Film Industry, Johny Lever. The half an hour of rib tickling show was divided into various segments. The first segment was a topical stand up comedy by Johny Lever. Then there were skits where Johny took the disguise of popular personalities. The 'Main Bhi Johny” segment asked the common man to come up and showcase their talent in roadside booths. Apart from these, there were some floating segments like parody of songs,topical spoofs mimicry etc. the show was in fact believed to be insane doses of family entertainment because it was the show which had the king of comedy at its fullest. Making fun of the celebrities, news makers, the dead and the alive, it was absolutely hilarious. The show not only was popular with the audiences, but soon marked its popularity with completion of 50 episodes. Johny also interviewed some of the lively celebrities that went with the flavour of the show in his own inimitable style. The set was also very unique with a street ambiance that had cars parked with people in them.

The show was telecast on Zee TV form 5th June 2006 to 20th December 2006 and then went off air.
