The story revolves around the Sikh family of Barars from the village of Lona Pind of Hoshiarpur in Punjab. Dilpreet Singh Barar is the head of the family, and has two sons Mandeep Barar, aka Maan and Randeep Barar, aka Rana . Dilpreet Singh was desirous of sending Mandeep to America to pursue his career in medical science and become a doctor . All this enrages Khushwant and creates conflicts between both families. Randeep also leaves the Barar family when they refuse his idea of studying in America. The story takes a leap 25 years and now focuses on the life of Amrita Barar, the daughter of Mandeep and Aastha, Riya Barar, the daughter of Randeep and Nimrit and Dr. Veer, the adopted son of Dilpreet and Sanjyot Barar. Veer is smitten by Amrita and proposes to her whereas Riya has a crush on Veer. Also, hatred against the Barar family is entrenched in the mind of Khushwant Singh, so he constantly plans conspiracies against the Barar family. Will the family be able to weather all ups and downs? Will the family reunite? Will Veer realize Riya’s love for him? Will Khushwant realize his mistake? All these questions will be answered in the series.
