(Avatar). The story starts with an unusual family. Priyadarshan Saxena is the father. His wife, Bindu is no more. They had only one daughter, Minu, who became very lonely after her mother’s death. Minu was craving for a happy and complete family. Priyadarshan plans to marry again and start a family to cure Minu’s loneliness. But he realizes, it would take years to start and grow a family. He decides to adopt kids. Priyadarshan had a driver, Santosh, who died driving his car. Priyadarshan wants to adopt his kids- Avatar Singh and Kattar Singh.

They are pre-teen boys. The neighbors and the relatives are surprised by Priyadarshan’s decision. The social worker who was helping Priyadarshan adopt kids warned him to adopt them as they were well-known in their colony for naughtiness. Initially, Minu was distraught seeing two strange kids in her house. She also considered them to be poor and not worthy of being her brothers. Avatar and Kattar as well did not want to go live in that house, as they were happy in their slum. Both play pranks and trouble Priyadarshan and Minu, so that they send them back.

However, with time, both kids build a bond with the family members and do not want to leave. The three kids become best friends and take part in antics together. They also have a Tamilian maid, Rekha. The kids trouble the father and their maid with their pranks and hilarious commentary. Each episode shows a new adventure of the family. Avatar, being the youngest and the naughtiest, always lands himself in trouble. The show is a combination of witty dialogues, funny scenes, and slapstick comedy. The show sends the message that family does not necessarily mean individuals who share the same blood.
