He made his big screen debut in Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007) and also featured in Mission Istaanbul (2008), before becoming a producer of running Flying Turtles, his production company.
He works out a lot and plays badminton and squash. In November 2011, he married Kanchi Kaul, and the couple is rumored to be expecting their first child. He says he would love to have a daughter. Dheeraj Dhoopar was born on 20th December 1984 in Delhi and currently resides in Mumbai.
