K Babu is a politician from Indian National Congress, born on 2nd June 1951 in Angamaly, Cochin, Kerala. His parents are K Kumaran and K Ponnamma. He did his schooling at St Joseph’s School in Angamaly. He completed his graduation at Sree Sankara College in Kalady. Babu’s political career started when he was in School. In 1966, he joined the Kerala Students Union.
Babu was the youngest Municipal Chairman in Kerala and he was the first Chairman in the Municipal Council, Angamaly. He had been the President of Youth Congress Block Committee and Youth Congress District Committee in 1977.
