Jeele Ye Pal is an Indian reality television series. The show was produced by Star Plus, and it came out on the screens for the first time on September 10, 2011. It used to get telecasted on the weekends, on Saturday and Sunday, at 7:30 p.m. in Indian Standard Time. The hosts of this reality series were ‘
Roshni Chopra’, and ‘
Vj Yudhishtir’. Both are well-known faces on the Indian television, especially Roshni, who had been seen in the television series Aahat, Desi Girl, and much more.
The show had been formatted to run for six weeks divided into a total number of 12 episodes. There will be six teams consisting of two members each, and all the teams will compete against each other in some adventurous tasks. The winning team of this show will be awarded a brand new Maruti Suzuki Ritz, and an opportunity to travel to any dream destination of his or her choice around the world. The latter was given to the celebrity in the winning team, and the car was for the contestant.

Apart from these six celebrities, six contestants were also selected through auditions to appear on this show. Their names were Sania, Hitesh, Prashant, Shiraz, Mamta, and Simran. The show consisted of six teams comprising of one contestant and one celebrity, each. Anupriya paired with Shiraz to form one team. Rati and Prashant formed another team. Karan Wahi and Mamta became team number three. Gaurav and Saniya formed team number four. Kinshuk and Simran grouped together as team number five. And the last team consisted of Pavitra and Hitesh.
The kickoff of this contest began at Udaipur in Rajasthan. Yudhishtir welcomed all the celebrities and contestants and declared the teams. Then the race began. The race consisted of various clues, which the teams had to collect and deduce where to go next, and also different challenges or tasks that each team had to complete before reaching the finish line.
