During the first season of the show, there is a musical war between two schools in Mumbai. Ishaan studies in a school where the parents of the school students are not rich and the school tries its best to provide the best environment for its students. Whereas in the other corner of the city, there's a school which is filled with rich kids. The school has state of art facilities. It promotes all kinds of activities for their students. There is a musical competition happening in the city and students of both schools plan to participate in it. Ishaan is a great singer and everyone knows. Kabir is a great singer too, but he is arrogant and always wants to be in the spotlight. He hates Ishaan and that gives him motivation to win the competition. After seeing his enemy's band perform, he realises that he has no chance to win. He makes his band members to to bully Ishaan. The band however refuses to do so, as they want to win fair and square.

Kabir is fed up of his band and plans to beat him on his own. He bribes the judges to make decisions in their favour. The judges accept the bribe, but because of Aysha, they are caught. Ishaan wins the competition and keeps his dream alive of becoming a famous musician. Kabir is embarrassed and can't show his face to anybody.
