Catherine Tresa was born in Dubai. She could neither speak any Indian language (except Hindi) but made her impact in south Indian cinema, especially in Kannada, Telugu and even Malayalam cinema. Though born in a Malayalee Christian family, she cannot speak in Malayalam either. Her latest release would be director Gunasekhar’s 3-D film ‘’Rudhramadevi’’, which will be simultaneously released in Tamil and Kannada too.
