Sumathi Sri is a writer, lyricist, newsreader, and orator born and brought up in Trichy, Tamilnadu. She did her schooling at St. Philomena's Hr. Sec. School. She went to St Joseph's College to get her B. Sc degree, Bharathidasan University, and Holy Cross College. Sumathi did the post-graduation course in Tamil. She had also worked in PKR Arts College For Women as a lecturer. Sumathi started developing her orating skills when she was 8. While many of her relatives made fun of her for choosing MA in Tamil, she carried out her studies full of hope. In 2002, Sumathi worked in a local channel in Trichy as a newsreader.

Janani Ranjan is an actor. She was born in India. She mainly works with the Malayalam and Tamil Industry. She has Indian Nationality. She had appeared in the cinema various times. Radhika George is a Tamil film actress, who was debuted in James Vasanthan’s first musical Tamil film, Vaanavil Vaazhkai (2015). Radhika is a trained percussionist and her teacher influenced her to play other percussion instruments aside from Tabla. She is also playing Djembe, Cajon, Tumba, Bongos, Mridangam, and Chenda and has performed in several stages in Kerala. She is a member of a band called Eastern Band during college, who has won several awards at School Youth Festivals. Radhika is also a member of the Wooden Shield, a percussion band based in Cochin. Currently, she works as a percussion faculty at the Pavo School of Music in Chennai.

James Vasanthan is a popular musician, TV host and also a judge in music competitions. James was born in Tiruchirapalli and he did his schooling there in YWCA Primary school and Bishop Heber Higher Secondary School. He completed his graduation in Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at Jamal Mohammad College. Due to his interest in music, he learned Carnatic music by attending the classes in Madras University. He is also good in Western music, which he learnt from Trinity College in United Kingdom. He is well versed with few instruments like Guitar and Pianoforte too.

Knowing about Rashina Adiraj has been one hell of a task for he is totally absent from any kind of social media be it Facebook, LinkedIn or Twitter etc. Such is the level of anonymity that he has maintained, that he is not even seen in the photographs of the movie functions while almost everyone who was on the crew could be seen in one place or the other. When the nettv4u team dug deeper about why he was absent, we found that Mr Adiraj is busy with his work and while everyone is up there trying to hog the limelight, Mr Adiraj is busy working in the background trying to ensure that everything goes smoothly.

Born on 7 January 1976, Harish Raghavendra is a playback singer. The songs Hey Azhagiya Theeye, Devathaiyai Kanden, Nirpathuve Nadappathuve, Melliname Melliname, Sakkarai Nilavu made him a household name in Tamil Nadu. He has tried his luck in acting too; he acted in few Tamil movies.

Harish entered the music industry at the age of 21 and his first song was for a Telugu film. Then he did a song in Tamil and was absent from the industry for quite some time. He added a degree to his name and embraced Software Engineering too. In fact, Harish would have been a software engineer if not entering the music industry. 

Harish returned to the music industry with a bang with the song “Nirpathuve Nadappathuve” from the movie Bharathi. The song became a great hit and he gained recognition. In fact, he was awarded with the Tamil Nadu State Award for the song. Here, then, as per the recommendation of maestro Ilayaraja he changed his name to Harish Raghavendra (his original name is only Harish). Next, his song “Ye Azhagiya Theeye” became a massive hit. And now he has 4000 songs to his credit. 

Harish has worked with some of the big names in the music industry. Though, he is highly talented his album “Mudhal Mazhaye” didn’t do well as expected. All the same music directors didn’t fail to work with him and he had sung in several languages such as Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada, but singing in Tamil always remained close to his heart. 

Harish Raghavendra didn’t sing only commercial ones but also got involved in devotional ones. Harish can rightly be considered as one of the eminent singers in Tamil film industry. He was also a judge in some of the reality shows. Besides his usual singing, Harish also did various live concerts.

Yugabharathi is an Indian lyricist and poet. He specializes in writing Tamil poems and Tamil songs. He was born in the Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu. Yugabharathi’s real name is Prem Kumar, but he changed it to Yugabharathi as it was his pen name for his poems. Yugabharathi completed his Matriculation from Maxwell Matriculation Higher Secondary School. He also has a Diploma in Engineering from Government Polytechnic College. He started his career as a poet in early 90’s and wrote poems for various Tamil magazines. He changed his name to Yugabharathi to honor his idol Subramanya Bharathi. He started his career as a lyricist with the movie Aanandham. He wrote lyrics for Pallankuzhiyin in the movie. After that, he wrote lyrics for many songs. His first work as a successful lyricist came out in the year 2002 in the movie Run. He wrote the song Kadhal Pisase, which became a huge hit. In 2003, he wrote songs for the movie Vasiya Kaari and Manmadha Raasa. In the year 2004, he went back to writing poems for magazines.

Sandeep Kumar is an Indian director and writer working for the Hindi film industry. Some of the famous Bollywood movies, he worked as a director are Aaiyash: The Desire, Parveen Bobby, and Anubhav: An Experience. Aaiyash: The Desire was a romantic-drama movie that hit the theatres in 2004. Sandeep Kumar worked as both writer and director in the film, and the lead cast includes Akansha, Rakhi Bajaj, Taaniya, and Raja Murad. Parveen Bobby was a drama film which was released on 1st January 2007. Sandeep Kumar was the director, while the lead cast of the movie includes Ravi Ahlawat, Amrita Dhanoa, Mohan Joshi, and Mushtaq Khan.

Umesh Kumar is a successful event manager. He has also tried his luck in art direction in Tamil cinema. His latest venture is the Vishal-Arjun starrer Irumbu Thirai (2018). Umesh got good recognition for his work in Irumbu Thirai. Umesh has also worked in movies including Trisha Illana Nayantara (2015) and Vaanavil Vaazhkai (2015).

Jithin Raj is a playback singer as well as an actor who has sung mainly in South Indian movies. He is a native of Malappuram, a district in Kerala but settled in Chennai for achieving more heights in the field of music.

Jose Selvaraj is a Tamil actor who has appeared in the 2015 movie Vaanavil Vaazhkai. 

V.J. Sabu Joseph is a renowned film editor in the Tamil film industry. Although he started his journey in the year 2002 by working as an associate film editor with veteran film editors- J. N. Harsha, and Anthony- his first project as an independent editor was for the movie ‘‘Aanmai Thavarael’ (2011).

Ilaiyaraaja’s works stand out particularly due to his talent for fusing traditional Indian instrumentation with symphonic orchestration.
