Plot
Yog Japee is a doctor and he gets into extramarital affair with his colleague. He, along with a photographer Riaz (Riaz does the unfair act of taking personal pictures of people and thereby blackmailing them) are chained in a closed room. They do not possess the slightest idea as to why they are chained. Sharing their room is a dead person who is fatally wounded. To add to the twist of the story both of them find a cassette which tells them that they have to utilize the coming few hours, otherwise they will lose their lives. And here starts the real game…

All the actors have done what is required of them with pretty good comfort level.
Analysis
Sathuram 2 is inspired by the English movie Saw but it has its own share of entertaining moments. The movie belongs to ‘slasher genre;’ and is the first such movie to release in India. This is the debut movie of director Sumanth Radhakrishnan.

For such a gripping subject the screenplay could have been better.
Verdict
Sathuram 2 can be watched this weekend. Those who haven’t watched Saw may relish it. Also, a good attempt by a debut director.
