Hema Rukmani is the CEO of Thenandal Studios Limited. Under the banner of this production house she has carved a niche for herself to provide the theatre and film experience to Chennai audiences and has built audience relationship and tries to build chemistry which give theatre and cine viewers its superior quality. She is the daughter-in-law of late Director Rama Narayanan and married to Murali Ramasamy, who was then the CEO of Thenandal Studios Limited. Before her marriage, she did her journalism degree and wanted to become a journalist. But post-marriage, her father-in-law advised her not to become a journalist. This is how her vision in life changed forever. She opened a DVD library in Chennai which preserved mainly the foreign movies (from the US) and Mani Ratnam, Vaiko were members of the library. She also had chances to visit foreign locations and watch theatre shows in abroad after her marriage.

Kajal Aggarwal is a modern Indian model and film actress, known for working predominantly in Telugu, Tamil and few Bollywood films. She was born on June 19, 1985, in Mumbai, Maharashtra in India to Vinay and Suman Aggarwal. Her younger sister, Nisha Aggarwal, also works in the same field and appeared in Tamil and Telugu films.

Born on April 8, 1988 Nithya Menen is indeed a star to reckon with. She has worked in South Indian films, including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Hailing from Calicut, she was brought up in Bangalore. Before joining films, she passed Journalism from Manipal Institute of Communication. Though, she wanted to do a course in Cinematography things didn’t fructify. After working as a child artiste in the film Hanuman, she did a film with Mohanlal during the year 2008. This got her many accolades and she was nominated in the category of Best Supporting actress.

During one of her entrance exams Nithya met director Nandini, who was instrumental in making Nithya an actress. Her debut film as a grown up artist is ‘Ala Modalaindi’ in Telugu, which was directed by Nandini Reddy. Nithya dubbed for herself in one of her Telugu films. Nithya Menen is known for films, including Urumi, 180 etc. Now, she has several films in her kitty. A commendable fact is that Nithya Menen is also a singer. She has worked as a playback singer in many films and has around 4 awards to her credit as a playback singer). Nithya is considered to be an intellectual artiste and she is not seen as a glamour doll. 

Currently Nithya has worked in around 35 films, concentrating on the four main regional languages. She is considered as one of the good actresses in the south. Maniratnam’s OK Kanmani showcased her prowess as an actress and in Kanchana 2 she did justice to her role. In an interview, she had stated that, she believes in her intuition while selecting a film. Though her dream was not becoming an actress, she has now come into terms with it. She has around 35 films to her credit and she doesn’t want to hasten things, but wants to earn money at her comfort. Born on April 28 1987 Samantha is a model and actress, who has acted in Telugu and Tamil films. Samantha was brought up in Chennai and she was involved in modeling in her teens. The Telugu film Ye Maya Chesave was her first film and she was instantly successful; she got the Filmfare award for Best Debut. She also has a Nandi award to her credit, for this film.

Kovai Sarala is an actress who acted in more than 750 films in her career spanning for over 25 years. She has acted in Tamil (even Telugu films) and had joined films as she was the sole bread earner in the family. Many feel that she filled the void left by Manorma and she is the only actress who had stepped in her( Manorama) shoes. In this film industry, Sarala could carry scenes on her own merits. There was a time; she would be seen in every successful movie (just as Manorama) during 1980-90s. Looking back at her career, she played a 55-year old character in Chinna Veedu( her second film) when she was just a teenager. Everyone had wondered how she played that role. She even played the unforgettable character of Palani as Kamal Haasan’s wife in Balu Mahendra’s Sathi Leelavathi. Both Kamal and Balu Mahendra too had complimented her for this role and it is her best role till date. 

Then she was seen as a lover of Sathyaraj in couple of films which were declared hit (Karagattakaran, Kaalam Maari Pochu, Periya Manushan). The greatest asset in her performance was that, she never told any vulgar lines in her comedy dialogues. At least she preferred not to do this kind of comedy at all in any of her film. Although she is a Malayalee by birth, she gained popularity in Tamil film industry only. Recently, she had acted in two successful movies such as ‘Kanchana-2’ and ‘Komban’, which was a box-office winner and people had watched her antics and appreciated her comedy. This versatile actress had learnt acting through theater participation in Coimbatore before she made her break in movies. For her family’s sake, she remained unwedded to anybody, but yet she faced many struggles with her relatives who cheated and even have emptied her bank accounts. 

Currently, she is choosy with her films and five films are under stage of production. She will be remembered for her comedy performance in South Indian cinema. She is an evergreen actress who will continue to please every generation.

A girl with a big name and big dreams, Sharanya Srinivas was born on 3rd January 1991 in a Tamil family. Being the last name as Srinivas, music was in her blood. Grown up in a family of singers and musicians, she started to sing from early phases of her life. Knowing her talent and skills, she chose to be a singer after completing secondary education. Making a career in music as a vocalist she undertook many vocal courses under Henry Kuruvila where she underwent music production courses and making her voice melodic. After learning vocal skills, she took another course on music vocal from A. R. Rahmans KM Music Conservatory. When she knew she had sufficient skills in music vocals, she debuted her sweet voice with the song 'Adi Thaahira' alongside Sathya prakash.

Shreya Ghoshal, one of the most famous singers in Bollywood today, was born on March 12th, 1984, in Berhampore, West Bengal. Her father Biswajit Ghoshal is an electrical engineer and mother Sharmistha Ghoshal is a postgraduate in literature. She started singing since the age of 4 when her mother taught her. She started her formal training in Hindustani classical Gharana of music when she was only six years old. She was trained for 18 months after which she continued her training in Mumbai with Late Mukta Bhideji. She completed her graduation in Arts with majors in English. Her first on-stage performance was at their club’s annual function. Her first studio album was in Bengali in 19998 and was named Bendhechhi Beena, and her first onscreen performance was in Awaz Nayi Andaaz Wohi. In 1995, she became the winner of All India Light Vocal Music Competition. Her fame and career began with her winning a television singing reality show named Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

Shweta Mohan is a female playback singer in Indian cinema who is also the daughter of playback singer Sujatha Mohan. Like her mother, she also had sung in various languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. She was born on 19 November 1985 in Chennai.  In fact, earlier she was a bit hesitant to take up singing as her career. But as she sung, she enjoyed singing very much. Had not she been in singing, she could have opted for doing MBA and got settled other way. 

Neerja Kona is a costume designer and a stylist and works predominantly in the Tollywood and Kollywood cinema. She was born on April 29 in the year 1983. She is a native of Bapatla, Andhra Pradesh. She currently stays in Hyderabad in Telangana.

Pallavi Singh is a famous actress and model who has appeared in TV shows, films, web series, and various ads on various platforms such as Star Plus, ott ect. The actress appeared in a web series titled Dabangai. Pallavi is also a digital content creator and has her own YouTube channel where she shares various vlogs about beauty, fashion, acting, and comedy sketches. She played a role in the movie, Naan Mahaan Alla, which was released in the year 2010, as a companion to Kajal Aggarwal's role, before being joined to assume a supporting part in the bilingual film, 180, which was released in the year 2011. Atlee Kumar is a movie director and screenwriter from India, focusing mainly on Tamil feature films. He is a graduate of Sathyabama University and holds a degree in Visual Communication. He started off his media career by making short films, one of the most notable being Mugaputhagam with Sivakarthikeyan of Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam fame. He then became an assistant director to director Shankar, assisting him during the production of Enthiran and Nanban. It is to be noted that Nanban is a remake of Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots. Born in Madurai and raised in Chennai, Atlee cites the Mani Ratnam film Thalapathi as his inspiration to enter the cine field. Atlee’s maiden directorial venture was the movie Raja Rani, a love story featuring the ensemble cast of Arya, Nayantara, Nazriya, Jai, and Sathyaraj.

G.K. Vishnu is an Indian-origin cinematographer who primarily works in the Tamil Film Industry. He was a Computer Science Student, who started his career initially as a freelance graphic designer, he then did photography for the time being. He was already in contact with Director Atlee in his earlier days which helped him create his own space in the Tamil Film Industry. He has worked as a cinematographer for various films like Mersal, Bigil, Krack, etc. In 2017, Mersal got released that stars Vijay, S.J. Surya, Sathyaraj, Hareesh Peradi, Nithya Menen, Kajal Aggarwal, etc. Director Atlee wrote and directed the film. A.R. Rahman composed songs for the film. The film’s story revolves around a doctor, Maaran, who was accused falsely of killing his colleague Dr. Arjun. But later, he discovers a guy who looks exactly like him, and his goal is to expose corruption happening in the medical world.

A. R. Rahman is a Legendary Music Composer, prominently known for his rocking music for the movie “The Slumdog Millionaire”. He had won a couple of Oscars for this album and made India proud.  Allah-Rakha Rahman’s birth name is A.S.Dileep Kumar. He was born on January 6th, 1967 in Chennai. His music journey had begun at the age of 4 when he learned piano. At the age of 11, he joined the Maestro Ilayaraja's troupe as a Keyboard player. He made his debut as a composer with the legendary film-maker G.R.Maniratnam’s film “Roja” which came out in 1992. Some of his popular music albums were for the movies like Rangeela, Bombay, Dil Se and Lagaan: Once upon a time in India.

Antony Ruben or Livingston Antony Ruben (by birth), is a film editor in the Tamil film industry. He acquired a degree in Visual Communication from the Loyola College in Chennai. Gautham Menon advised him to visit Anthony for further help. Ruben had visited Anthony earlier as well. He approached ace director, Gautham Menon, to become his assistant, but the latter redirects him to director Anthony, to work as his assistant editor. Under Anthony’s mentorship, he worked on the film Vettaiyadu Vilaiyaadu, which was a hit. He was given a bright chance to work on film trailers, which ultimately helped him work on films like Thoranai, Avan Ivan and Vedi. His debut as a full-fledged editor was in the film, Kandaen in 2011.

As they always say, "it runs in the blood", the same has been proven in Vijay Joseph's life. His dad is a very famous Tamil movie director, S. A. Chandrasekhar. Vijay's mother is a famous playback singer. He began his acting journey as a child artist in a film called "Vetri". He acted in many movies as a child artist supporting veteran heroes like Vijayakanth and Ajith Kumar. His career started as a leading hero with the movie, "Naalaiya Theerpu", in 1992. He won the "Cinema Express Award for New Face" for this movie.

Sathyaraj is one of the greatest actors of Tamil film industry. He has good comic sense, good height, and good performance, and is still active in the industry. Rangaraj is the real name of Sathyaraj. Born on October 3, 1954 Sathyaraj forayed into the Tamil film industry as a villain. He depicted the suave villain perfectly and he was accepted by the audience. His dialogue Thagudu Thagudu from the film Kaaki Chattai is still famous now. In fact, it is no exaggeration to tell that he gave a complete transformation to the notion we have about villain. His oratory adeptness in villainous roles is indeed exemplary. 

Vadivelu… everyone in Tamilnadu knows this name very well. Vadivelu is the popular comedian, who filled the space after Koundamani and Sendhil, left the field. He was born in Madurai and started his career in the photo frame shop. He strived hard to run his family, when he was in Madurai. After, he entered the cinema industry, his lifestyle has changed completely. He was introduced by Rajkiran in En Rasavin Manasile. Though it was a small role, Vadivelu did it with his humorous sense. He also appeared in Chinna Kounder, a Vijay Kanth movie. His breakthrough movie was Kadhalan, in which he appeared as Prabhu Deva’s friend. He and Prabhu Deva worked together in many films and the duo got success and popular too. In the initial stages, Vadivelu did comedy scenes with Vivek too. After a certain stage of his success, he started to act as a solo comedian, with some small comedians accompanying him. One of his hit comedies is from the film Winner with Prashanth. Varuthapadadha Vaalibar Sangam’s founder Kaippula is his character and many people like that comedy till now. He has acted with almost all the top heroes, like Rajini, Kamal, Sarath Kumar, Vijay Kanth, Sathya Raj, Vijay, Ajith, Vikram and many more. He has acted as a hero in Imsai Arasan 23 aam Pulikesi, Indhiralogatthil Na. Azhagappan and Eli. Eli is his latest movie and is running successfully in theatres.

Yogi Babu is one of the famous actors in Indian films. His appearance is there in only Tamil movies. At present, he is a regular comedy actor in Tamil films. Babu was born in Chennai, Tamilnadu. His acting career started from 2009 onwards. He was famous for his outstanding movie called Maan Karate (2014); a fantasy oriented Tamil film under the direction of Thirukumaran. There are some prominent stars in this movie namely Sathish, Vamsi Krishna, Soori, Hansika Motwani and Sivakarthikeyan. Famous writer Murugadoss wrote the entire script for this movie and went on to screens under the production of Escape Artists Motion Pictures. Anirudh Ravichander gave an outstanding music for this movie. Mr. Babu was also notable for his famous film Yaamirukka Bayamey (2014), a comedy horror movie under the direction of debutant Deekay. It was under the production of Elred Kumar with casting by Anaswara Kumar, Oviya, Kreshna and Rupa Manjari.

H. Murali is an Indian producer who worked for the South Indian film industry. Not only a great producer Murali is also an executive producer in Tamil movies. His first work as a producer was included in the movie Bose which lead the television in 2004. Murali got very praised for his work in his first debut and later he started working more on movies like Mersal in 2017, Vaaliba Raja in 2016, and Jaganmohini in 2009. Presently he is working on more upcoming films.

R. Udhayakumar is a Tamil film producer who worked on several successful films, including Master(2021) starring Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi and, recently, Varisu(2023). He is also the founder of the production company Lyca Productions. Udhayakumar was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras to study engineering. After earning his degree, he worked as a software engineer before entering the film business. In 2011, Udhayakumar created his directorial debut with the movie The Flying Machine. The movie was both a critical and financial success, and it contributed to making Udhayakumar a producer to keep an eye on.

Vivek Velmurugan is an Indian lyricist predominantly working in the Tamil Music Industry. He has also worked in other languages such as Kannada, Telugu, and Malayalam. He made his debut as lyricist in 2015 in Tamil films. He later received critical acclaim for his writing in 36 Vayadhinile (2015) and Jil Jung Juk (2016). Vivek was born in 1985 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He later moved to Chennai, India at a very young age. He completed his higher secondary education from Vidya Mandir Higher Secondary School. Then he studied engineering at Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology in Chennai.

In Indian cinema, there are very few singers and music composers who made their mark in acting too. By having the talent of music along with acting skills, one can get a great chance in the film industry like G.V. Prakash Kumar.

G. V. Prakash Kumar is the new Kollywood singer who, after earning a good name in the music industry, made his acting debut with Pencil opposite Sri Divya, but the project got delayed. His next film Darling got released earlier. Darling was a remake of Telugu film Prema Katha Chitram, which became popular. His third film is going to be in Telugu and Tamil. Telugu film titled Trisha Ledha Nayanthara and Tamil titled Trisha Illana Nayanthara will be released in September 17, 2015. The actor has signed two new films Bruce Lee and Sam Anton, which is getting ready for its shooting.

As a music composer, he already made a huge impact in Tamil Cinema. He was a vocalist on the soundtrack for A R Rahman’s score in Gentleman. Prakash made a contribution to Rahman’s numerous projects. He worked with Harris Jayaraj and sang two popular songs in Anniyan and Unnale Unnale, but he got the break as a full-fledged composer in Tamil film Veyil. His score in Madrasapattinam was appreciated by the masses; especially he cast a spell for his number in the song” "Pookal Pookum Tharunam". The composer made even Dhanush to sing for a song” Voda Voda Voda” and even recorded some songs with his wife Saindhavi.

A young brain deeply rooted in Indian music, his talent needs no mention, but when a singer, composer makes a mark in acting as a hero, it is indeed a milestone in the cine world. Very few had achieved this status, one being legendary playback singer Kishore Kumar. G. V. Prakash Kumar is married to Saindhavi, who is also a playback singer.

Kailash Kher was born on 7 July, 1973 in New Delhi. He is an Indian pop Singer, Music Director and his music style is influenced by, Indian Sufi and folk music. His family belongs to Kashmiri roots. His father named Pandir Mehar Singh Kher was a famous Folk Musician and Singer. Kailash was very interested in singing and music from his childhood. He left his home at the age of 14, for learning music and took proper lessons from his guru.

After many attempts, he didn’t get the right teacher. He began to learn music, by listening to the classical music of Indian singers like Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Pandit Kumar Gaurav, Pandit Gokulotsav Maharajand and also Lata Mangeshkar. After that, he started to teach music for his expenses in Delhi. Because of some problems in the family, he left singing and completed his graduation from Delhi University. When he was staying in Delhi, he met Paresh Kamath and Naresh Kamath in a concert. They together, started his band named “Kailasa”. Thus, he started his journey in his music career. 

He has sung more than 5000 songs in 20 different languages of India. He got the opportunity to sing in the movie “Andaaz” (Rabbaa Ishq Na hove). After this, his song “Allah ke Bande” from movie “Waisa Bhi Hota Hai 2” became very popular, and made him a popular singer in Bollywood. The song "Teri Deewani" from the album of the same name by his band Kailasa and the song "Ya Rabba" from the movie Salaam-e-Ishq had record sales. His band albums are Kailasa(2006), Jhooma Re (2007), Chaandan Mein (2009), Rangeele (2012),Naina Chaar (2013) etc. 

He won Filmfare award as Best Male Playback singer for the film Fanna (2007) and also won the Filmfare award as Best Male Playback Singer-Telugu for the film Mirchi.

Naresh Iyer is once again a popular face, but mainly due to his singing talent. This 34 year old singer hails from Mumbai. There is no end the number of hit songs he has produced over the years. Likewise, he owns a series of awards that have been rightfully given to him. His contribution to Bollywood has been tremendous.

In spite of having a degree in Commerce, Iyer decided to study Carnatic music and Hindustani classical music. His career has just looked forward from then on.

He got recognition from A.R. Rahman in the reality talent show which was called Channel V’s Super Singer.  His beautiful rendition of Roobaroo, which was an A.R.Rahman composition for the movie, Rang De Basanti, won his a lot of accolade. He went on to win the national award for the Best Male Playback.

He then worked on a number of projects including Raanjhaana and Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na and a number of praiseworthy Tamil projects.  The former is a story about a boy who fell in love with a girl since his school days whereas the latter is a love story again between two friends who realise that they actually love each other towards the climax of the movie. He has been appreciated for his work with the R.D. Burman award for Best Male Debut which is a very prestigious honour in the country.

He is also the vocalist in Mumbai based fusion band that goes by the name of Dhvani.

Pooja Vaidyanath belongs to Hyderabad (Telangana). She is an upcoming singer in cinema. Trained in classical music and violin, she is a brilliant singer today and it seems that music is running in her veins. Through reality singing contest, she wanted to establish herself as a classical singer. Today, she has done over 300 stage shows in India and abroad. When she was performing in reality singing contests, in various TV channels, she did not have any training in classical music. But she often feels that she was born in a family of music lovers and she owes inspiration from her late father. This singer performed her first stage show in Telugu TV channel show Padalani Undi in ‘MAA TV’ and won the rounds in 2006. Later, she even participated in Zee Telugu Sa Re Ga Ma voice of youth and became a runner-up in 2008.

Sathya Prakash is a popular south Indian villain actor, who hailed from Odisha. His father was a government staff and Sathya got a place in the government school and he completed his schooling. Sambalpur, Burgad and Burhampur are the places, where Sathya completed his graduation and post graduation. Sathya did his MBA in Kolkata. He was a bank employee for a few years.

Indian-American playback singer and music producer Sid Sriram was born 19 May 1990 in Chennai. He spent his childhood in Fremont, California. Sid graduated from Mission San Jose High School. After that, he admitted in the Berklee College of Music and completed his graduation in Music Production and Engineering. He is famous for his musical collaboration with A. R. Rehman and Bharata Natyam dancer, Pallavi Sriram (sister).

Tapas Nayak is a well-known sound designer of India. He was born on 12-12-1950. He is famous in both Bollywood and Tollywood for his great work. He started his career in the year 2000, and he completed his 18 years in the industry.

GopiPrasannaa is a very popular Graphic Designer, branding expert, and logo designer as well. Designers play an important role in making anything aesthetically pleasant. He was born in Chennai. He has worked with many popular brands and everyone like and appreciates his designs a lot.

Prem Rakshith is a famous and leading Indian Choreographer. He was born on 14 December 1977 in Chennai. He started his career from the year 1993 and is working even nowFrom the year 1993, he commenced working in Tamil and Telugu film industry with several other choreographers. In his career, he took various dance classes which provided him an edge above other choreographers. In the year 2006, Prem got his first break when RB Choudry hired him for his film to do choreography in his movie. In the consecutive year 2007, he got an opportunity to work with Raj Mouli in his film Yamadonga. Yamadonga was a blockbuster hit. His style of choreography is unique and as well as entertaining in the film, and he got very much appreciation for that. He choreographed two songs in it.

Anal Arasu is a heat amidst the stunt coordinators in the cine industry. He is known to us as the fight master or the action master who performs various stunts in the movies of Indian languages like Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and much more. This simple man was born in Chennai and has dedicated his entire life, literally and figuratively in performing stunts as a coordinator in the movies. His initial times were quite hard. He stepped in as an extra fighter and then became assistant to stunt masters like Kanal Kannan, Stun Shiva, and Peter Hein. His source of inspiration to become a stunt master is his father C.M. Arasu, who has also performed in numerous movies in the 1980s. He made his debut in the film “Chathrapathy.’ He then worked with Prabhu Deva for the action films like Vedi (2011) and Rowdy Rathore (2012).

Kevin Smith is famously known as an American actor. He is also a comic book writer, author, comedian, and podcaster. He was born in Red Bank, New Jersey. His parents were Grace and Donald E Smith, a postal worker. He is of German origin with some Irish and English ancestry. He came into light with a comedy film Clerks in the year 1994, for which he was the writer, director, co-producer and also an actor. His character name was Silent Bob. He filmed most of his early films in New Jersey, his home state. He also frequently featured cross plot elements, character references. Interestingly, as it was a low budget film, Clerks was filmed in the convenience store in which Smith himself worked. So they only shot at night after the store is closed.

Naveen Paul is the Co-founder and the Creative Head of NY VFXWAALA and is the recipient of the Star Screen Award, and Zee Cine Award, 2017, and the 64th National Award for Best Visual Effects for Hindi motion picture - Shivaay He was featured in hot topic 100 by Digital Studio magazine for three consecutive years - 2015, 2016, and 2017. He got nominated for the Best Visual Effects for Dilwale 2015 – Filmfare, Zee Cine, and Star Screen Awards; the Best Visual Effects in Singham Returns, 2015 for the Zee Cine and Star Screen Awards. Naveen has seventeen plus years of experience with high-end film-based VFX Pipelines as a VFX Supervisor / Creative Director and has extensive experience as a senior, lead, and supervising artist and has proved his aptitude for management. He has done his high school at Kendra Vidyalaya. He has done his Bachelor of Science and Physics and Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.

Jitendra Yadav was born on 12th February in Katka village of Jhusi, which is in Allahabad. He is currently a resident of Mumbai, Maharashtra. The actor completed his studies from Bharatendu Academy of Dramatic Arts, which is a training institute of theatre in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He is working as a supporting actor in the Indian Film Industry. Jitendra has also given his appearance as a lead actor in the Bhojpuri film titled Bigul, which is a love story.

Mohan is the stage play, TV cum cinema actor, who was born on 17th May 1956. Mohan, who played the role Cheenu in Crazy Mohan dramas had been called as Cheenu Mohan. Williams managed the cinematography department, and G.V. Prakash Kumar composed music for the action thriller film. The film’s story revolves around DCP Vijay Kumar, who goes to different places to bring her daughter to safer surroundings. However, when the gangster threatens him to harm his daughter, he has to face his past and save his daughter's life. In 2017, he wrote the screenplay for the film Mersal along with V. Vijayendra Prasad.
