Aayirathil Iruvar is a long-delayed film and the production works of the film started in 2012. Saran scripted the film with the plot of hawala and money laundering. The movie was shot in Tirunelveli, Hyderabad, Bangkok and Dubai.

Plot

Vinay plays a dual role, twins. Both the brothers always fight with each other and they don’t have a single thing to coincide. Vinay’s father has parcener problem. Their family sets on a family tour to Kanyakumari. Vinay falls for a girl in Kanyakumari and follows her. He travels to Hyderabad following the girl. Later, his family gets information that he is dead. His twin brother rushes to Hyderabad to find out his lost brother. Did he find his brother? Is this the complot of Vinay’s relatives? Watch the film in theaters.

Star Performance

The Vinay which we saw in “ Thupparivaalan Click to look into! >> Read More... ” is entirely different from the one here in Aayirathil Iruvar. Vinay kept aside his chocolate boy look and played a matured man. Kaajal plays the villain in the film and her looks suit the role well. Mayilsamy, Ilavarasu and Arul Doss comedy combination has worked out well.

Analysis

Saran has not chosen a different script, but this is new to him. Although this is not up to his standard like Kadhal Mannan with Ajith, his comeback gets a good reception. Saran has handled the film for both Tamil and Telugu moviegoers. Hope you would have understood the term! Yes, there are songs and action sequences lined up at regular intervals.

What’s There?

Vinay has done his best in the dual roles
Comedy track is superb and Arul Doss and Mayilsamy make the audiences laugh out loud
With the three leading ladies, glamor is adequate; special for the youth

What’s Not There?

Age old script and expected twists

Verdict

The film is complete a fun entertainer. If people with a bad mood watch the film, definitely they will come out of that mood and would enjoy the film for sure. If you are ready to accept some illogical scenes, then this film might suit your wavelength.
