Krishna Ramanan

Krishna Ramanan is an Indian Cinematographer. He particularly works in the South Indian Movies. The cinematography was not something that he started his career with. Krishna was a still photographer initially. He served almost 14 South Indian movies as a still and working photographer. He was bought up in Chennai, India. He also served as a magazine photographer to many publications in Mumbai. He stayed in Mumbai for a while, but soon, in the year 1997, he pushed back to Chennai to pursue his dream and learn cinematography under the renowned cinematographer Santosh Sivan.

Santosh has won various awards for his cinematography. Krishna assisted him in movies like Dil Se... Asoka, Terrorist, and more. Finally, in the year 2002, he made her debut as a cinematographer in the Tamil Film Industry with the film, Kummalam. Krishna has worked for multiple language films, which include Tamil, Punjabi, Telugu, Hindi, and Bengali.
