These two are the movies with the combination of director Kamal and Megastar Mammootty. The movie “Utopiayile Rajavu” is based on the political skit, which revolves around the imaginary land Kokranghara.

In this movie, Mammootty plays the role of the sculptor cum social figure, who shows his interest in social issues. The character name of Mammootty is C S Swathantharan. Jewel Mary Jewel Mary is an Indian actress, television anchor >> Read More... is the female lead in this movie, paired opposite with Mammootty.

Plot: In this film C S Swathantharan (played by Mammootty) is the son of a freedom fighter and a person with innocence, who does not know how to survive in life and involves in issues related to society. The villagers call him with a nickname”Utopiayile Rajavu”. Mammootty has plans to put up his father’s statue in the Kokranghara village, but faces some troubles. There he meets the social worker Umadevi (played by Jewel Mary) and the rest of the story travels from here. Mammootty has even performed some comedy sequences in this movie.

Review: Director of the film, Kamal has chosen a political skit this time, which is entirely a different story from his movies before. The lead characters have played their role perfectly, which adds a plus to this movie. On the technical side, cinematographer Neil D’ Cuncha can be praised for the attracting visuals. Editor, Rajagopal has made the first half of the cinema good to watch, but the climax scenes were made short. Music composed by Ouseppachan is pleasure to hear.

Director Kamal has convinced the audience’s expectation, with a good subject and with a perfect casting.

This is a movie that can be watched once for sure for its family entertaining subject!
