Directed by Leo Toland Kreiger, Ascendant from the divergent series is all set to release in 2017. The story is about Beatrice Prior and Tobias Eaton, where they indulge into an alternate world. They are captured by an unknown agency where they find truths about their reality.
The screenplay has been written by Adam Cooper and Bill Collage, and Theo James has been cast as Four. There are rumors that Tris may die, in this upcoming 2017 release. There are speculations that Tris would be saved somehow, as she is a major character and someone else will die, and Tris may live happily ever after with Four.
Another twist to the story will have David, planning some nasty evil act and erasing the memory of everyone. It is believed that this movie will follow a different narrative.
