Top 10 Movies Loved By The Critics But Hated By The Audience Hindi Article

Most of the time critics give out bad ratings to most of the movies produced every year. But sometimes, they give excellent ratings to films that the audience may or may not agree with. It’s safe to say that critics are not 100% reliable, and they have given positive reviews to many bad films as well. Today, we are looking at some of the movies that the critics loved but the audience didn’t.

1. Mubarakan Click to look into! >> Read More... (2018)

Mubarakan was a comedy with the same old jokes and formula, the confusion arising from identical twins. It didn’t work with the audience and was declared a flop at the box office, which it should have been. But somehow, many critics gave liked the movie apparently, and gave the movie positive reviews, with a 3.5-4 star rating. One even gave it 4.5 stars and compared it to classics like Andaz Apna Apna and Hera Pheri Hera Pheri is a comedy based TV show which came on >> Read More... . We wonder what he thought was so funny in the film.

2. Noor Click to look into! >> Read More... (2016)

Noor was a terrible movie, with terrible direction, script, dialogues, and horrible performance by Sonakshi Sinha Sonakshi Sinha is a well-known Indian Actress. She >> Read More... . It was a disaster at the box office, earning just six cr, which was deserving. Critics didn’t love it exactly, but many gave it mixed reviews, with 3-4 star ratings. Three stars for a movie like Noor is pretty high, with one critic giving a positive review with a 4-star rating. We don’t know how these critics found it even watchable.

3. Bodyguard Click to look into! >> Read More... (2011)

Bodyguard is a prime example of how not to make a remake. With physics-defying action sequences, cringy dialogues, and fat shaming in the name of jokes, Bodyguard was a terrible movie. But some critics gave the movie positive reviews, with a rating of even four stars. Taran Adarsh Born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on June 13, 1965, Tara >> Read More... even gave it 4.5 stars, and he has lost all credibility as a critic. How these critics give good reviews to such bad films is beyond all logic.

4. Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap (2011)

An average commercial action film, Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap, doesn’t hold up today. The movie was made just so that Amitabh Bachchan Amitabh Bachchan was born on October 11, 1942 in A >> Read More... could relive his angry young man days of the 1970s and 80s. The film didn’t work with the audiences, earned only 15 cr at the box office, and was declared a flop. But somehow, the critics thought the movie was good, giving positive reviews and good ratings. How the critics gave a 4-star rating to this movie where 69-year-old Amitabh rides a Harley and bends bullets in the air is beyond our minds. It didn’t deserve the praise that it got from critics.

5. Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga (2019)

Portraying a lesbian love story on Indian screens was indeed an exciting and courageous idea, but the film screwed the whole thing up in the execution. The movie fell flat on audiences. It received criticisms for the lack of a compelling screenplay and Sonam Kapoor’s performance. It was a flop at the box office. Whereas the critics liked the movie, calling it entertaining and groundbreaking. Many critics gave it three stars, while some even gave it 4-star ratings. Indeed the film could have delivered better.

6. Bullet Raja (2013)

Bullet Raja is director Tigmanshu Dhulia’s most commercial film, but it’s also his weakest one. It’s an action story of an ordinary man turned gangster, set in Lucknow. The audience thought so too, and the movie flopped at the box office. While some critics gave it below-average ratings, there were some critics out there that gave the movie 3-4 star ratings, calling it funny and clever with outstanding action choreography. We don’t know how any critic would justify giving it four stars.

7. Ae Dil Hai Mushqil (2016)

This movie had so much potential because of its brilliant cast and a fine script. But it landed flat on our expectations. The audience was disappointed after watching as it could have been a good movie about unrequited love, but it just couldn’t deliver, and the cancer twist was also unnecessary. However, critics believed otherwise and gave the movie positive reviews. Many critics gave it 3.5 stars, whereas some even gave it four stars. One critic even called it Johar’s best film. We wonder if she ever watched My Name Is Khan or not. Probably no.

8. Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo (2015)

You would expect a film about princes and princesses would be set in the 19th century by the latest, but that’s not the case here. A movie about a dysfunctional royal family with a jealous step-brother and having a double role has no place in today’s world. The performances were also awful. But the critics have again proved themselves to be unreliable. Many gave the movie three stars, and some gave it 3.5 and even four stars. Taran Adarsh again confirmed himself the worst critic when he gave the film a 4.5-star rating.

9. Veere Di Wedding (2018)

The movie tried to give a message regarding feminism and women empowerment but proved itself hypocritical. It portrays an empowered woman as a drinker, smoker, foul-mouthed, and having sexual relations with multiple men. The audience deservedly called out the film and criticized it wholeheartedly. But many critics gave the movie positive reviews, calling it fun and engaging with great dialogues and chemistry among the leads. It received many reviews with three and 4-star ratings.

Many critics gave it four stars, while some gave it 3.5 stars, praising the screenplay and performances and calling it fresh and breezy. This movie divided the audience and critics.
