Sannidhanandan

Sannidhanandan is an Indian playback singer. He has sung in movies, made his records, and performed at gigs. The young artist has more than twenty-five songs to his name. He came into the limelight in 2007 when he participated in the singing reality show, Idea Star Singer. His hits include songs such as Vel Vel, Onnanam Ambeduthu, Aariyam Nellie, and others. Sannidhanandan took birth in Thrissur, Kerala on 5th March 1980.

He had a cleft lip disorder, a condition in which the newborn has a cut in the upper lip which extends into the nose. Being born into a religious family, his parents accepted him as he was, and raised him. Sannidhanandan grew up in the rural area of Thrissur. After several years, his parents and relatives got to know about cleft surgeries being performed in Mangalore by Dr. Mstafa for a nominal fee. Dr. Mustafa worked for The Smile Train, a non-profit organization that proves corrective surgery for kids with cleft lips. Sannidhanandan and his relatives went to Mangalore for the same.

The experienced surgeon operated him, and Sannidhanandan became perfect, now he could speak and sing properly. He started learning classical music and performing in small gigs. In 2007, Sannidhanandan auditioned for the singing reality show, Idea Star Singer. Only forty-five people made it to the elimination round, and Sannidhanandan was one of them.

He went to deliver beautiful performances and entered the final ten contestants list. However, Sannidhanandan got eliminated and did not win the trophy. He left his mark on the judges and in the mind of the audience. After the stint, he bagged a music track in the movie Ithihasa. Directed by Binu S, the action drama had a few songs. His hits include song such as Pandaaarama Pandaarama, Maaaya Maanasa Ayyappa from the film Kaanikka, Techipoo from Ordinary, etc. Sannidhanandan sang five songs for the movie Kaanikka.
