Dhyan was born on 20th December 1988 in Thalassery, Kerala, India. Dhyan dropped his engineering and joined Visual Communication to fulfill his wish of working in the film industry. He entered this glamorous world in 2013. His debut movie was "Thira", directed by brother Vineeth Sreenivasan. He was selected for the film when Vineeth saw his short film which he had directed himself.

Vineeth was impressed by his acting and asked if he would like to act in his next movie and Dhyan agreed. The movie is announced as a trilogy's first sequel. Dhyan did the movie with Shobana as the co-actor. The movie was considered as average at the box office and was given three stars out of five.
