The Boxtrolls Teasers, Trailers & Video Songs

The Boxtrolls is a stop-motion fantasy film brought alive by the creators of Coraline and Paranorman. The movie tells the story of Eggs a boy who believes himself to be a Boxtroll. It follows a journey filled with transformation, experiences, and acceptance. The trailer is a ‘featurette' that introduces the audience to the characters and their voice actors. The Boxtrolls are weird, shy creatures with mottled skin and a penchant for inventing.

The directors, Graham Annable, and Anthony Stacchi explain the making of the stop motion characters. The trailer gives us a peek on the designing elements of the movie including the set and character designs. The trailer also shows interviews with the voice actors on their opinion of their characters. It stars some prominent cast such as Ben Kingsley as Archibald Snatcher, the merciless antagonist, Tracy Morgan as Mr. Gristle, Snatchers’ bloodthirsty henchmen, Simon Pegg as Trubshaw, Isaac Hempstead-Wright as Eggs, the species confused boy and finally Elle Fanning as Winnie.

The animation of the movie is quite grotesque but artfully done. It received some mixed reviews. It has nominations for Best Animated Feature, character design, animated effects, storyboarding, and won the Annual Annie Award for Voice Acting. The movie is an utter delight to watch and will leave the kids in stitches with its incredible concept, hilarious jokes, and bizarre characters.
