The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel Teasers, Trailers & Video Songs

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is a British comedy based on the novel, ’These Foolish Things’, by Deborah Moggach. The story revolves around a group of British elderly who move to India for various personal reasons and experience the force that is India. The concept of the movie is outsourcing. Nowadays we find that most of the First World countries outsource their work to foreign places. The film builds on that idea, and thus we get the plot, retirement outsourcing. The casts are exceptional actors and actresses including the likes of Judy Dench, Bill Nighy, Maggie Smith, Celia Imrie and Dev Patel from Slumdog Millionaire.

The trailer shows us clips of filming in central locations and also the actors’ views about the place, the story, and their experience. We can see that the movie focuses not only on the culture shock experienced by them but also the beauty and culture of India as well. The reviews were positive with an immense appreciation for the cinematography, screenplay, and the acting. It was a surprise hit and was a high-grossing comedy in 2012 coming in fourth place in the U. K.

The film won Women Film Critics Circle Awards for the Best Comedic Actress and also for Women’s Work: Best Ensemble. The movie is a gem to watch and will keep you laughing throughout with a smattering of sentimentality.
