Taken 2 Trailers, Teasers & Video Songs
Taken 2 is the sequel of the prominent Action/thriller Taken. The story follows Bryan Mills, played by Lim Neeson, as he tries to save his wife from the kidnappers while keeping his daughter out of harm’s way. Oliver megaton is the director of the second instalment of the series. The trailer packs a punch with lots of action and drama. But, it fails to capture the tension and suspense of the predecessor. The opening of the trailer depicts a group of people mourning the death of their fallen brothers.
These people are part of the organization that kidnapped Bryan’s daughter in the first film and they are back to seek vengeance. The story takes place in Istanbul and as such incorporates the city’s buildings and culture into the film.
The visuals of the movie are captivating, and the cinematography is decent. But the film lacks one thing the first one became well known for, action. Even the trailer lags in its narration and does not deliver the expected drama and thrill. Liam Neeson's portrayal of his character is on point but that is not enough to save the film. Die hard fans of the primary movie left feeling disappointed and cheated; their expectations dashed.
