Pitch Perfect 2 Teaser, Trailer & Video Songs
Pitch Perfect 2 is the sequel to the musical comedy about an all-girls a cappella group. The Barden Bellas, after the success of the first movie, became an inspiration for all girls who love to do harmonized singing. The previous film was a hit among youngsters for being funny, witty, relatable and entertaining. The sequel had all the elements of the original and trumped the total gross of the last film.
The movie follows the original cast, along with a few new faces, as they finish their final year in college. The group suffers humiliation and suspension from the A Cappella Community due to their performance disaster in front of the President. So, to gain their former fame and prestige, they enter and try to win the World Championship of A Cappella.
Although the original characters do not get much character development since the first film, there is enough plot to make it a decent movie. The movie has its fill of singing and dancing, with the latest songs, skilled competitors, and incredible mash ups. It brings back a foot-tapping and catchy riff-off, same as the first movie. All the musical numbers are of popular and relevant songs that make the feature a crowd-pleaser. The premise of the story is the same as the previous film, except, the competition’s fierceness and reach encompass the world.
The sing-off is a global event, and the Bellas are trying to bring glory back to their name. The storyline also deals with the uncertainty that every youngster feels as they finish college. The first sense of adulthood and the lack of confidence in pursuing their dream. The movie, along with being a notable musical, explores the friendship fostered among the group members that will last them a lifetime.
