The spectacular animation leaves the audience spellbound. The trailer has been filled with bright hues that catch the attention of everyone alike. It demonstrates how technically proficient the movie is. The visual effects bring life to the turkeys and forces people to believe that are real. The scenes in the trailer have been accompanied by dynamic music that takes the viewers on a fun journey. Free Birds was directed by Jimmy Hayward. The trailer precisely explains the plot of the movie in a thrilling manner.
A turkey named Reggie, who keeps warning its friends about how they might end up getting cooked on Thanksgiving day miraculously, receives the ‘’pardoned turkey’’ title from the US President and is taken by him. Reggie gets preferential treatment in a lavish manner. All he does is receiving delivered pizzas and watching tv. He gets kidnapped by Jake, a member of Turkey Freedom Front. Jake seeks Reggie’s help to board a time machine and reach the first ever Thanksgiving so as to save all turkeys from being killed brutally. They cleverly escape the officials guarding the device and enter the time machine to reach the year 1621.
There, they are ambushed by hunters but get rescued by native turkeys. The chief of the native Turkeys is Broadbeak. He has two children, Ranger, and Jenny. All the turkeys join to detect human traps laid for them for the sake of Thanksgiving day. They face many complications to protect themselves. Reggie comes up with a brilliant idea. He travels back to the current time and gets a pizza to the past and suggests everyone to celebrate Thanksgiving by eating pizzas and not by eating turkeys. Thus, all Turkeys are saved. The trailer has received 666,153 views on Youtube. The animation has been applauded by critics, but overall, it got negative reviews from them. But the film was a box-office success.
