Marthand K Venkatesh is a well known professional film editor who is mainly recognized for his works in Telugu cinema or Tollywood. He was born as the son of the famous K. M. Marthand, the most renowned film editor in the Telugu film industry and as the nephew of B. A. Subba Rao, a legendary director in the Tollywood film industry. As a young boy, he used to visit his father’s office where he saw him work. After a certain period, his father, K. M. Marthand had become an alcohol addict and his health quickly declined due to increased consumption of alcohol.
