Plot
The story revolves around a fisherman’s life and how one struggles to make a living, the plot follows Ankulu and Gangaiah who compete at work at Palaveru Coast.
Another guy named Nageshu comes to know about this and decides to interfere with their life by bringing huge boats and affecting the local business.
The rest of the movie discusses this as we learn who will continue fishing in the Paleveru coast?
Star Performance
The film stars Vamsheeram Pendyala as Ankulu, Ajay as Gangaiah, and Yepuri Hari as Nageshu. The entire cast of the film did a great job of portraying their characters.
Analysis
The story revolves during entire first half around Anku, Gangaiah's lives and the conflicts between them. The film introduces us to the lives of fishermen with addition of action, revenge and a love story to the life of fishermen and the ups and downs they face professionally.
From the very first scene itself the film feels authentic and the setting and portrayal of characters is natural. Even though there are great details in the scenes, the story feels slow moving. The second half of the film picks up speed and turns into a revenge drama, unlike how it was during the first half of the film. We see Anku and Gangaiah struggle against Nageshu and his sons, the climax fighting scene is awe-inspiring and catches viewer’s eyes.
The story at one point feels predictable and even with brilliant acting and setting the film fails to deliver its complete potential.
As in the end we see the typical win of good over evil which marks the film’s end.

Verdict
The Movie "Revu" is an average telugu film with good direction, and excellent portrayal of the characters by respective actors but the slow narration and stretching certain scenes in the film makes the viewer bored of the plot quickly.
Overall “Revu” is a film which fails to catch viewer’s attention due to the director giving priority to show’s villainy in the second half. This makes the story seem off track. The natural performances of the actors are impressive and those who like revenge dramas can try ‘Revu’ movie once.
