Plot
The film revolves around two gangsters, namely Muskal Bhai, who has killed nine people till now, and Naama, a local gangster who collects hafta from people. Both of them aim at becoming the topmost don and rule the underworld. These two become friends and involve in the Hawala business. They decide to defeat Rana, the topmost don of the underworld. Moreover, Muskal Bhai and Naama fall in love, respectively.Â
Will they be able to defeat Rana? What fights, shootouts, and other difficulties are they both going to face? Will their personal life affect their gangster life? Why the film is named Hawala?
Star Performance
Ammith Rao and Srinivas are the leading cast who play the role of two gangsters. Ammith Rao gave the best performance. He looks very energetic, natural, and realistic on the screen. From an angry gangster to a loving boyfriend, he shows all the emotions in a balanced proportion. Srinivas looks very serious on the screen. His physical strength is impressive. Both actors make the film engaging through their stunning actions.
Amulya Gowda and Sahana, the two female leads, look beautiful on the screen. In the whole film, they only show their love for the two boys. Both of them perfectly executed their part.
Analysis
The film is full of action scenes. There are fights, shootouts, and car chases between the gangsters and their rival gang. However, the film suffers from poor execution. Besides playing a lead role, Ammith Rao is also the film’s director. This dual role overloads his work.Â
The film makes the viewers feel bored in the first half hour. There are many illogical scenes. For example, there is a scene in which a contract killer kills a person and collects his blood in a vessel. There is another scene in which a girl is sent to a brothel because she demanded an Android phone.
Coming to the plus points, only the performance of the actors and the action scenes hold the film firmly. The film has thrilling music and good camera work. As a whole, we can say that Hawala is an average film.
